7th Armoured Brigade takes action to get fit together! |
In late November over 40 Army Physical Training Corps and All Arm Assistant Instructors from 7th Armoured Brigade attended a developmental day in the Roberts Roundhouse in Hohne Station. The aim of the day was to update and develop the instructors on Physical Developmental matters.
The PTIs gave advice about achieving fitness goals
The focus for the day was on inviting individuals to set realistic and achievable goals. The Brigade Commander Brigadier Welsh set the tone for the day with a vision of influencing soldiers and families alike. One on one consultation then took place between those that needed advice and the instructors. The BFG Health service Dietician, Kate Woodall, and a Diabetes specialist, Jo Dalton, educated all on the healthy options available and gave a comprehensive brief on diabetes. During the afternoon over 100 individuals visited the many stands and gained advice and direction in all areas of Physical Development. Event organiser WO1 (SMI) Rick Lowe APTC would like to thank all that contributed and promised there will be more days like this to follow which will be advertised in the Heide magazine.

Group discussions about fitness and health were well attended
