1st Battalion The Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment held a Halloween party on Sunday October 26th in the Tiger’s Den, Barker Barracks.  The Den was looking appropriately spooky after lots of hard work and effort by some very willing volunteers, particularly RCMO Matt Wood, CSgt Stu Bowdler and Sgt Difford and the girls from Charlie’s Angels.  The day was a great success with the children enjoying taking part in the fancy dress and scariest pumpkin competitions. In addition there were a variety of craft stalls for the children who had great fun creating scary masks, spiders, spooky bookmarks and Halloween window dressings in preparation for the big night.  After the Sunday lunch in Chards restaurant which was superbly prepared as always by the chefs there were traditional Halloween games for all to enjoy.  Thanks to all who made the effort to prepare the Den and organise the day and to all of those who attended and took part.
