1st Battalion The Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment hold a Tea and Toastie morning every Thursday morning from 0900 -1200 in the Tiger’s Den, Barker Barracks.  The mornings are run by Charlie’s Angels, named after of course our Commanding Officer, Lt Col Charlie Sykes.  The club has proved to be a great success and provides the wives with a forum to meet, chat and allow their children to interact with others. 

The club’s opening times have been conveniently set in order that as many mums as possible can come in after dropping their children of at school or nursery.  Of course it’s not just mums who attend the club with many of our soldier’s enjoying a delicious snack and a cuppa during their morning break. 

All continue to enjoy the ever improving facilities offered within the Tiger’s Den, such as the provision of a Playstation, WII and DVD area, Satellite TV and the coming wireless Internet facility and new soft play area for the younger ones.  All are welcome to come along and help take the mornings from strength to strength.
