Families of 1st Battalion the Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment took part in a very special event in the tiger’s Den, Barker Barracks, Paderborn to make gifts for spouses, mummies and daddies alike.  As their loved ones are currently deployed in either Afghanistan or Iraq the girls of Charlie’s Angels provided the perfect chance for the families left in Paderborn Garrison to make Valentine day banners and posters for their loved ones.

The messages will be sent out to both operational theatres where the guys can see them proudly displayed around Company offices and central display areas.  In addition to the craft work the mums and kids were treated to pie and chips for tea, prepared splendidly as ever by LCpl Tubbs.  Thanks to all who attended and in particular to Mrs Dawn Baynham, Becky Davey, Jo Wright and Hedda Gorman for all their efforts in what was a great event.
