25. Kings school approached me with the possibility to teach archery at GCSE level, to top up some students GCSE (about 20% was to be included in the overall result), but due to lack of qualifications, was unable to cater for them.
26. Currently undergoing civilian teacher training course, with the view to complete A1/A2 assessor (approx 1 year), of which GNAS have agreed will enable me to teach archers to become instructors, and enable me to assess them too, this will dramatically reduce the cost of archers having to attend civilian course.
27. The club also caters for the younger elements of BFG, from the age of 7+
28. Took the Regional Rehabilitation staff for a team building session using archery.
28. This list is just some of the achievements that I (and the club here in Germany) have achieved in the last 7 months……. With no funding! All equipment has been purchased by me, maintained by me, and will remain with me (wherever or whenever I’m posted). I am currently the only archery leader in BFG (no-one has admitted it yet & club has been up and running for nearly 2 yrs) If I was to be posted tomorrow, then apart from the archers that have their own equipment, I believe that PRB Archery Club would cease to exist. |
