Why not visit the Joint Services Parachute Centre in Bad Lippspringe (JSPC(L)), near Paderborn? They’re open to all service and entitled personnel, including dependants.

Rhine Army Parachute Association (RAPA)

For as little as €120 you can complete a one jump course.

For €150 you can experience a tandem freefall from 12,000 feet! Your jump is filmed throughout so you've got a DVD as a great reminder of your thrilling experience!

Bring the family… stay for the weekend… meet LCpl Harvey, the DZ dog!

There is a café and bar and a handy campsite next to the centre. There is also bunkhouse accommodation available.

Joint Service Adventurous Training (JSAT)

Why not choose parachuting as your Unit’s adventurous training activity this year? The centre runs 13 basic Joint Service Adventurous Training (JSAT) courses throughout the year where you can expect to achieve approximately 10 jumps.

As well as parachuting you may be encouraged to use the JSPC(L) mountain bikes to explore the beautiful surrounding area and the Teutoburg Ridge. The centre has qualified mountain bike trail leaders.

In addition the centre runs 2 advanced JSAT parachuting courses for those with a little more experience.

UK National Canopy Piloting Championships

From the 7th to 9th July the JSPC(L) hosted the UK National Canopy Piloting Championships, combined with the German National Canopy Piloting Championships.
