Out of Hours Services

If you need urgent care advice and your local Medical Centre is closed the call will divert to the Regional Medical Centre. When the Regional Medical Centres are closed, your call will automatically divert to a telephone advice service provided throughout the night.

Emergency: 112

If you believe that life is in danger or an accident or illness is serious enough to require Accident & Emergency treatment then you must contact the local ambulance service using the national emergency telephone number of 112. The ambulance will take you to the nearest hospital.

Where possible, once the ambulance service have been called, a second call should be made to the local medical centre to inform them of the situation. They will, in turn, inform the MOD sponsored welfare service and/or respective unit administrative staff.

Support Services for Hospital Patients

The Hospital Hotline to call is 0800 588 99 36. The call will be answered by a Hospital Liaison Officer 24 hrs / 7 days a week / 365 days a year. The Hospital Hotline is free for calls made from a landline. Please note that calls made from mobile phones may be charged.
