A Message from the Head of Service HIVE Europe As Head of Service HIVE Europe, my aim is to ensure that all members of the Service community - serving personnel both married or single, together with their families and dependants including all civilians employed by the services, receive a first-class information and referral service within a confidential environment. HIVE provides a comprehensive information service covering a wide range of topics relevant to life within the Service environment. We hold information on Education, Customs, Tax, Benefits, Housing and lots more, if we do not have the answer we will endeavour to research and find the answer for you. HIVEs also operate a confidential referral policy, so we can put you in touch with the appropriate agencies; my plan is to ensure that no one leaves the HIVE empty handed. All HIVEs also hold a vast amount of local information including a Welcome Pack for all New Arrivals. This pack will help you settle more quickly into your new posting or indeed help with the transition back to the UK or any other destination worldwide. HIVE Information Officers are fully trained to assist you and all staff are bound to a code of confidentiality. If you have an enquiry or would like to request a ‘Welcome Pack’, ‘So Your Posted’ or a ‘Get You Back Pack’ from one of the HIVEs, please e-mail or telephone them using the contact information given in this site. We are here to help you make the most of your stay and to reassure you that HIVE Europe have access to any information you would easily obtain from various civilian sources back in the UK, all you have to do is contact your local HIVE and ask the question.
