General news, garrison news and sport will be covered on the site. The newspaper’s motoring section will also be featured, with road-tests on all the latest models.
For news from the host nation, a German news page will provide information on the most-talked-about German stories.
The new site will also enable Germany-based soldiers away on deployment to keep up to date with what is happening on the home front via their laptops.
Sixth Sense’s publishing editor, Rob Skellon, said: “A great deal of thought and planning has gone into the site, so we are confident it will have very wide appeal.
It has been designed so that it will be the perfect complement to Sixth Sense. Together with the newspaper, the Sixth Sense website will provide soldiers and their families, as well as civilian workers, with a fully comprehensive BAG news service.” |
